was established in 1997 to provide high quality educational in-house training programs for Harbor Homes, Inc. and partnering nonprofit agencies in the Greater Nashua, N.H. area.

Today, the Institute offers quality trainings at an affordable price for all nonprofit agencies in Southern New Hampshire. The Institute also sponsors seminars, conferences, and provides speakers on mental health issues, housing, counseling, computer skills, and other skill building topics.

WLI is an affiliate agency of Milford Regional Counseling Services, Inc. (a private, nonprofit counseling agency), Healthy at Home, Inc. (a private, nonprofit health care agency), Greater Nashua Council on Alcoholism, Inc. (a private, nonprofit alcohol and substance abuse recovery program), and Harbor Homes, Inc. (a private, nonprofit housing and mental health service provider, and parent corporation to all of the above-mentioned affiliates).
